We have 10 principles that underpin how we work with our clients on most consulting engagements:
- Setting expectations – what will be delivered and how we will work with you
- Providing a process – we will explain how the engagement will be carried out and what is expected from all parties
- Curiosity – some of the questions will be tough, some may make you re-evaluate what you are doing. All will be relevant.
- Challenge existing ‘norms’ – looking at why things are done the way they are, and the reasons behind this.
- Be honest – in the way that we deal with you, and document our thinking.
- Evidence-based thinking – relying more on what we can prove, than mere supposition.
- Not confusing strategy with tactics – both are needed, but they are different. First we’ll help you set your vision, then your strategy, then determine with you your tactical priorities.
- Ensure that strategy is consistently aligned with execution – we can provide project management expertise to ensure that this happens.
- Listen then act – we won’t make change for the sake of it. We will only act when we fully understand a situation and have sufficient information to move forwards.
- Mutual respect – we respect the knowledge and experience that our clients have, and expect that to be reciprocated.
